On the night of October 7, 2023, while praying, the Northeastern Nun had a vision of a tall building with curved lines. Next to it, on a mast, was a blue flag with golden stars. The name Turkey came to her as an intuition. She knew that flag was not Turkish. At the end of the vision, she researched and confirmed that the flag she had seen was that of the European Union. However, she did not understand its meaning.
On December 21, 2024, while praying about this vision, she asked her angel what it meant. She heard the answer: “Broken alliances and destruction.” Immediately afterward, she saw the same building collapsing. The angel then led her to meditate on Obadiah 1:1-10.
The vision of Obadiah. Thus says the Lord God to Edom: We have heard a report from the Lord, and he has sent an envoy to the nations: “Arise, and let us together rise up in battle against him.”
Behold, I have made you little among the nations. You are greatly contemptible.
The arrogance of your heart has lifted you up, living in the clefts of the rocks, exalting your throne. You say in your heart, “Who will pull me down to the ground?”
Though you have been lifted high like an eagle, and though you have placed your nest among the stars, from there I will pull you down, says the Lord.
If thieves had approached you, if robbers by night, how would you have remained unnoticed? Would they not have stolen all that they wanted? If the grape-pickers had approached you, would they not have left you at least a cluster?
In what way have they been examining Esau? They investigated his secrets.
They have sent you out all the way to the limit. All the men of your alliance have deceived you. Your men of peace have prevailed against you. Those who eat with you will place snares under you. There is no foresight in him.
Shall I not, in that day, says the Lord, wipe away understanding from Idumea and foresight from the mount of Esau?
And your strong from the Meridian will be afraid, so that man may perish from the mount of Esau.
Because of the execution, and because of the iniquity against your brother Jacob, confusion will cover you, and you will pass away into eternity.
(Obadiah 1:1-10)
The passage from Obadiah speaks of an attack against Edom, which ends up suffering at the hands of its own allies. This ancient country received its name because Esau lived there, who traded his birthright to Jacob for a simple red stew (‘haadom’ in Hebrew).
Europe was the first continent to become a child of the Church. However, it traded its spiritual inheritance for ideologies, and today its people are immersed in apostasy. To this firstborn, the verse applies well: “How Esau has been pillaged, his treasures sought out!” (Obadiah 1:6)
I sent the nun several photos of European Union buildings. She then recognized that she had seen a building that appeared to be the Berlaymont Building in Belgium, the headquarters of the European Commission.
We can therefore interpret that the EU will have broken alliances and suffer destruction. Perhaps these will be literal, and one of its buildings will be attacked. Or it may be a symbolic collapse, and what will crumble is the European Union itself as an institution.
We do not know how the prophecy will be fulfilled, nor what Turkey’s role in it will be. But we know that God revealed these elements so that we may pray for those involved, for our prayers can change the course of events and mitigate the chastisements.
Let us offer our prayers so that nations distant from the Church may return to it, and the alliances to be destroyed are those of the chains of sin.
With the hope of the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the restoration of faith in our Savior, I wish everyone a Merry Christmas!
